Brewer Anheuser-Busch InBev (A-B InBev), the world’s largest brewer, takes a gamble on the 2019 Super Bowl as they spend big money on five-and-a-half minutes of airtime commercials. It is the most prominent media spender for the annual championship game of the National Football League (NFL).

The brewery will promote its brands Budweiser, Michelob Ultra, Stella Artois, Bud Light, and Bon & Viv Spiked Seltzer in eight commercials.

According to industry publication Adweek, a product will receive a 60-second ad, four brands will have 45-seconds of airtime, while three beverages will get promotion for 30 seconds. Budweiser will also post billboards and “bumper” TV ads during the event.

A thirty-second Super Bowl ad costs around $5 million during the 2018 version of the Super Bowl. The five-and-a-half-minutes of advertising will cost Budweiser around $25 million. The brewery, however, has not disclosed the exact amount it spent on Super Bowl advertisements.

Last year, Anheuser-Busch promoted four of its products in Super Bowl ads. This year, the championship game will take place on Sunday, February 3.
