Amazon has finally gotten its patent on the use of delivery drones approved by the United States Patent and Trademark Office after four long years. These delivery drones are useful not only in delivering packages to their customers but for surveillance of the client’s home.
The drones, if the customer allows them to, can record videos of the surroundings of the house to alert the buyer of any unusual activities such as a fire or a broken window.
Through the geo-fencing technology, the drones would not be able to give a clear image of other people’s property thus protecting the neighbor’s privacy.
