High Tide Inc. along with seven Canna Cabana cannabis stores in Alberta, showed interest in partnerships with an Ontario Cannabis Lottery Winner. The company wants to acquire a minor interest with the winner and give him/her the option to up the returns in the future.
The winner, whose identity is not disclosed is already in negotiation with High Tide Inc. The victor is one of the 25 entries who won the lottery held in January by the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario. The winner is now eligible to apply a retail license for a cannabis store by April 2019.
The winner is said to be already finalizing financial agreements with the company.
High Tide Inc. saw this as an opportunity to expand and offer their products in Ontario. The Alberta-based company, if approved by the winner, can provide its brand of smoking accessories and other cannabis lifestyle products and merchandise to the province.
It seems that the company is the one that the winner is looking to for business expansion. High Tide Inc. is sure to be a reliable partner for the victor and would be essential to expanding cannabis business in Ontario.
