Greece is comprised of thousands of islands, of which hundreds are populated. This brings a significant challenge when it comes to constructing a reliable electric grid. Greek authorities have decided to collaborate with Tesla to expand infrastructure.
The efforts of Elon Musk’s infrastructure and electric car company, Tesla, will improve solar panel technology and vehicle reliability. It can guarantee every Greek citizen to have a sustainable source of energy for a better future.
Tesla’s collaboration has provided benefits to many places and nations including the islands of Ta’u in American Samoa in 2016 when a Powerpack system was integrated. The technology also benefited Puerto Rico last year to restore the power.
The Ministry of Environment says they trust that Tesla could be drastically valuable to help build “smart energy islands” which was cited in a statement delivered to the Greek newsprint Capital.
